IHE stands for Intermittent Hypoxic Exposure, the technique of breathing short bursts of low oxygen air through a mask, alternated with normal air. IHE is one of the most efficient ways to adapt to low oxygen. It has been shown to provide additional benefits beyond other altitude training methods due to the lower levels of Oxygen used during the exposure.
